‘Our Daily Lives’

Originally from the south of France, I studied fine arts and art history. After that, I shifted my focus to graphic and applied arts, where I studied graphic design and visual communication for print media, while simultaneously developing my illustration skills.
Today, I work as a print and digital graphic designer, while continuing my passion for illustration. I draw inspiration from small moments taken from my daily life, little stories that I visualize in my imagination, which I try to translate into images. I start with a drawing on paper that I digitize afterward using digital editing software such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
In the gallery, I aimed to showcase my artworks in clusters. Two clusters feature illustrations showcasing my cats, some of which I had at specific stages of my life and hold significant meaning for me. Illustrations 9, 10, 11, and 12 depict artworks with potentially “deeper”, more melancholic themes perhaps, that resonate with me personally: nights, home, childhood, or absence.
