Art Curation Policy
Curation in the Main Gallery/Rooms
Welcome to Unity Gallery, where our art curation process embraces community collaboration and creative integrity. Our main gallery, housed in a three-story virtual building with nine exhibition rooms, showcases the work of dedicated artists who have contributed meaningfully to our creative community. Each artist in Unity Gallery has exhibited at least once in our gallery, ensuring a shared understanding of our artistic ethos and commitment to high-quality, diverse art forms.
In the main gallery, artists’ works must demonstrate craftsmanship and innovation, celebrating both traditional and digital techniques. While we support artists using AI as a tool in their creative process, we do not display fully AI-generated artworks or collectible NFTs in these spaces. This distinction preserves the human connection we aim to foster between artists and their audiences.
Community participation plays a vital role in curating exhibitions in the main gallery. Each member, having previously exhibited, engages in the selection and scheduling of future exhibitions, making the curation process a truly collective effort. The gallery values artists’ active presence on social networks, using these platforms to amplify both individual exhibitions and the gallery’s reach.
Our goal is to create an inspiring environment where both emerging and established artists can thrive, with diverse exhibitions highlighting the best in contemporary art. If you’re ready to join this collaborative and innovative community, please review our Room Booking Application Form and explore the unique rooms we offer, each with its own ambiance and customizable display settings.
Curation in the Lab
The Lab, adjacent to the main gallery, offer a space for experimentation. Here, the curation policy is more flexible, welcoming works that may fall outside the traditional art forms displayed in the main gallery. The Lab is particularly suited for NFT collections, community-driven projects, AI-generated art, and other cutting-edge collaborations that challenge and expand the boundaries of contemporary art.
Unlike the main gallery’s curated process focused on artistic integrity and craftsmanship, the Lab embraces technological innovation and experimental approaches. These spaces allow artists to showcase unique and avant-garde projects that explore the intersection of art and technology, including fully AI-generated works or NFT collections, fostering a spirit of inclusivity and exploration.
The lab provides a platform for artists seeking to push creative boundaries, and for audiences eager to experience the latest in art and technology. To book a room is the Lab, artists can contact the gallery via the Contact Us form or join our Discord for more information. Whether you are looking to experiment with new ideas or explore emerging trends in digital art, the Lab is the perfect space for innovation.
